SYSTEM7 was founded in 1992 by a group of engineers who took it upon themselves to develop the first Arabic accounting and warehousing program that works under the Windows operating system. The first version of the program was released in 1994, and it was distributed commercially in 1995, and its name at that time was Al-Ameen 3.1, and it was the first accounting program to work under Windows and on computer networks; reach the markets. Then Al-Amin Soft began developing a version that suits the requirements of external companies, in dealing with post-dated checks, communicating with an English user interface for the program, and enhancing support for multi-currency, in addition to developing program reports, facilitating and developing the rest of the operations in it, and adding the possibility of designing special types of invoices and bonds. The name of the issue at that time was “Al-Amin 97”. The distribution of this copy was started in Lebanon first, then in Jordan and Saudi Arabia, and then in the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and most other Arab countries. To become the first accounting program in terms of quality, support, and speed of development, in addition to its comprehensiveness and speed.

Then it moved to the Microsoft SQL Server 2000 database and supported the new operating systems from Microsoft such as Windows 2000 and Windows XP, and the program became able to deal with a huge volume of data, and a large number of users, in the 2002 version of the Al-Ameen program. The current version of the Al-Ameen program is “Al-Ameen 9.0”, and it includes a set of integrated and interconnected systems, such as points of sale, restaurants, hospitals, orders, distribution, marketing, fixed assets, remittances, shipping companies, and car maintenance workshops. In addition to the ability to import and export data between files automatically or manually, with the ability to generate distinguished analytical and statistical reports. The company is still working on developing the program according to the constantly changing market requirements, and to keep pace with the development of information systems in the world, so that it will always remain the first program in the Arab world for managing accounting systems.
